Student Information System with Integrated LMS

A student information system is judged by the registrar and used by the student. We build it for the second of those without losing the first.

The situation

Institutions need accurate, timely data to run their operations and meaningful analysis to improve performance. Students, registrars, faculty and heads of department each need access to the same information, in different forms, and rarely get it from the same place.

What we built

A comprehensive student processing system on an integrated student database, with a learning management system connected to it. It is delivered as a portal and as mobile apps, available anywhere and at any time. Financial aid, placement services and the monitoring of student activity run on the same record, so an advisor, a registrar and a student are looking at one set of facts.

This work became SMAX, our no-code enabled student platform, which takes students from admission to graduation through five offerings: Acquire, Educate, Transform, Engage and Record. It was the first low code/no code student information system implementation for the Gulf market, built to meet CHEDS requirements in the UAE and MOHE requirements in Saudi Arabia.

What we would say to an institution

Ask who in your institution uses the system on a Sunday evening. If the answer is nobody, the system was designed for the back office. The students are the largest user group you have, and the experience you give them is the one they will remember.
